Welcome to The Career Improvement Club. This page explains the terms that apply when you use this website, buy a digital product from us, download our resources or contact us through the site.
By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by The Career Improvement Club.
Throughout this page, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Career Improvement Club. “You” refers to the visitor, customer or user of this website.
If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us using the contact form on this website.
2. Our products
The Career Improvement Club sells digital career tools, including CV templates, job search guides, worksheets, interview preparation resources, planning tools and related digital downloads.
Our products are designed to help you improve the structure, presentation and quality of your job search. They do not guarantee job interviews, job offers, salary increases or employment outcomes.
You remain responsible for how you use the materials, the roles you apply for and the decisions you make during your job search.
3. Digital downloads and access
Most products sold through this website are digital products. After purchase, your files will usually be delivered by email, download link or through the checkout/download process.
Please make sure you enter the correct email address at checkout.
If you do not receive your files or download link within one hour of purchase, please contact us and we will help.
Some files may be supplied as ZIP folders, PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, Excel spreadsheets or other common digital formats. The product page will usually explain what software is needed to open or use the files.
4. Licence and permitted use
When you buy a digital product from The Career Improvement Club, you are buying a licence to use that product for your own personal career development or job search.
You may:
download and use the files for your own job search
edit templates for your own personal use
save a personal copy for future use
You may not:
resell, share, copy or redistribute the files
upload the files to template marketplaces, file-sharing platforms or public websites
claim the materials as your own work
use the products to create competing products or services
share download links with other people
All intellectual property rights remain with The Career Improvement Club unless otherwise stated.
5. Prices and product descriptions
We aim to describe every product as clearly and accurately as possible.
Prices may change from time to time without notice. Any price shown at checkout at the time of purchase is the price you agree to pay.
We may update, improve, remove or discontinue products at any time.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Because our products are digital downloads and are normally available immediately after purchase, we do not usually offer refunds once a product has been downloaded or accessed.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If a digital product is faulty, not as described or cannot be accessed due to a technical issue on our side, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue. This may include replacement files, technical support or another appropriate remedy.
7. The Job Search System 30-Day Action Guarantee
The Job Search System is covered by our 30-Day Action Guarantee.
This guarantee is designed for customers who genuinely use the system and still feel it has not helped them move forward.
To request support or a refund under the guarantee, you must contact us within 30 days of purchase and show that you have worked through the core exercises. This may include evidence such as:
your completed CV template
your Target Role Map
your job search direction or keyword mapping
your completed golden state methodology
examples of how you have used the planning tools or application process
Once we receive your request, we will review your progress and either offer additional support to help you improve your activity, or arrange a refund if preferred.
The guarantee does not apply where the product has not been used, where files have simply been downloaded and changed of mind, or where a customer has not completed the core exercises.
8. Technical support
If you have trouble downloading, opening or using a file, please contact us.
We will do our best to help with reasonable technical issues, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system or software version.
You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable software to use the product before purchasing. Product pages will usually state the software or file types required.

The content on this website is provided for general career guidance and educational purposes.
We aim to provide practical, useful and accurate information, but career decisions are personal and depend on many factors outside our control.
Nothing on this website should be treated as legal, financial, recruitment or employment advice specific to your individual circumstances.
10. Third-party links and tools
This website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or tools.
We are not responsible for the content, policies, accuracy or availability of third-party websites. You should review their own terms and privacy policies before using them.
11. Website use
You agree not to misuse this website or use it for unlawful purposes.
You must not attempt to interfere with the security, performance or availability of the website, upload malicious code, scrape content without permission, or use our products in a way that infringes our intellectual property rights.
12. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or our digital products.
We do not guarantee that use of our products will result in interviews, job offers, career changes or specific employment outcomes.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
13. Changes to these terms
